Every piece is finished and quality-checked by hand, so orders are typically prepared for shipment within 3–6 business days. You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking the moment it leaves us.

We ship to the destinations available at checkout. Enter your address to confirm yours. For international orders, any customs duties or import taxes are the recipient's responsibility.

Write to us at info@diafifth.com as soon as possible with your order number. If your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll do our best to adjust it.

Your shipping confirmation email contains a tracking link. If it hasn't arrived in the expected window, contact us with your order number and we'll track it down.

You may return or exchange your piece within 30 days of delivery, provided it is unworn, undamaged and in its original packaging. Returns are complimentary. Full details in our Return Policy.

Email info@diafifth.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We'll send a prepaid return label and instructions. Please don't ship anything back before contacting us.

Once your return arrives and passes inspection, we refund your original payment method within 5–10 business days. You'll get an email confirmation at each step.

Engraved, resized or otherwise personalized pieces can't be returned unless faulty. Everything else is covered by our 30-day policy.

Most of the collection is solid 10K and 14K gold, which is real karat gold all the way through rather than a coating over another metal. We also make a small number of pieces in gold vermeil, a thick layer of real gold over solid 925 sterling silver, and in sterling silver itself. Stones are premium lab grown diamonds and responsibly sourced gemstones. The exact metal, stones and gold weight are listed on every product page, and you can read how each material behaves over years of wear on our materials page. What we never use is gold plating over brass or another base metal, which is the material that fades within months and leaves a green mark on skin.

Gold-plated jewelry is a very thin layer of gold over a base metal such as brass. That layer wears through with everyday friction, usually within months, and once the base metal is exposed the colour fades and it can turn skin green. Solid gold is gold all the way through, so there is no coating to lose: it will not flake, fade or discolour, it is hypoallergenic, it is safe in water, and it can be repaired, repolished and resized for decades. Gold vermeil sits between the two. It is also a layer, but a much thicker one, and it is bonded to solid sterling silver rather than base metal, so it lasts far longer than plating and can be re-plated when it eventually wears. Solid gold does not tarnish. Tarnish is a chemical reaction between air and metals such as copper and silver, and there is not enough of either in a solid gold alloy for it to happen, which is why solid gold is safe to keep on in the shower or the sea. What it can pick up over time is a dull film from skin oils, lotion and perfume, and that is not tarnish: a wipe with a soft cloth or a few minutes in warm soapy water brings the shine straight back. Gold vermeil behaves differently. The gold layer itself will not tarnish, but if it wears thin at the points a piece rubs most, the sterling silver beneath can, so vermeil is best kept dry and stored away from open air.

Every ring page has a size guide beside the size selector, with measurements in both inches and centimeters. Measure a ring you already own against the chart for the most accurate result.

For most styles we recommend sizing up, especially for wider bands. If you're unsure, write to us with the style you're eyeing and we'll advise.

Our necklaces list their length options on the product page (in inches). As a rule of thumb: 14–16" sits at the collarbone, 18" just below it, 20"+ over the neckline. The size guide on each page shows how each length falls.

Many of our styles can be resized; pieces with stones set around the full band have limits. Contact us with your order number and the size you need and we'll tell you exactly what's possible.

Wipe with a soft cloth after wear, store pieces separately to avoid scratches, and give them an occasional bath in warm water with mild soap. That's genuinely all solid gold needs.

Solid gold is safe in water, so showering, washing your hands and swimming in the sea are all fine and will not damage the metal or dull its colour. Two things are worth avoiding. Chlorine in pools and hot tubs attacks the alloy metals mixed with the gold and can weaken a thin band or a stone setting over years of repeated exposure, and some porous gemstones, such as opals and pearls, do not like prolonged soaking at all. Gold vermeil should come off before water entirely, since moisture speeds up wear on the plated layer. Warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush around the setting, then pat dry. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners at home; some stones don't love them.
